New vista of beautiful China, New era of ecological civilization.
Changbai Mountain International Ecological Conference of China is an international conference integrating professional academic exchange, tourism promotion and marketing, urban brand building, opening and cooperation expansion, and the only international conference themed on ecological civilization in northeast China. Since 2013, the Changbai Mountain Ecological Conference has been successfully held for three sessions. The past three meetings, rich in scale, content, and activities in various forms, gathered guest scholars of academic strength, obtained the good scientific research and comprehensive effect, promoted our province with the domestic and international exchanges and cooperation from the conservation organization. The conferences also led to grand Changbai Mountain region gain a fast development in ecological industry and tourism industry, the development of natural protection is steady and solid.
      Through this platform, the achievements of the ecological civilization construction and the characteristic urbanization process of Changbai Mountain with the goal of "letting the forest into the city, linking the development of the green veins and integrating human beings into the nature" were fully displayed at home and abroad. To realize Jilin Province’s comprehensive practice, we have a strong force of construction of ecological civilization, a determination to promote the construction of ecological civilization, so as to make the good ecological environment become the growth point of people's life and become the economic and social sustainable and healthy development realize their important role, to help the achieving of the goal “Beautiful China, Ecological Jilin”. The relevant information will be reported by the organizations where the 8 potential World Heritage sites are declared. The main contents include the basic situation, the value of the heritage, the existing problems, the work and ideas of the declaration and so on. The reporting time of each organization should be controlled within 20 minutes. After all the reports have been completed, all the organizations please leave the conference room.
Due to time reasons, only two potential World Heritage sites will be reported and evaluated on the preparatory meeting, while the remaining 6 potential World Heritage sites will continue to be reported and evaluated on the afternoon of September 14, 2018.
